My view of the differences between our presidential candidates...

Okay, so here are a couple of differences that i can see between the Obama and McCain Camps. I see that Obama and Biden seem to think that the people of this country exist to serve them in achieving the purposes of their agenda for "change"(especially in financing government programs and and paying for their party's mistakes). On the other hand McCain and Palin seem to be more of the ideal that the government is there to serve the people, ensure that our freedoms are preserved, and that our economy stays a free economy that has the ability to take care of itself without government interference. That brings me to my next point.

Obama thinks that we are in the worst economical situation since the Great Depression. I find it funny, however, that the economy has recently started to improve. At least according to some recent readings i have perused and talk shows i have been listening to. Anyway, I am just curious as to how "spreading the wealth around" by robbing those individuals and small businesses who have worked hard to achieve their wages is going to solve the problem. All I can see that accomplishing is what everyone else with common sense sees, a significant rise in unemployment due to small businesses not being able to afford to keep their employees. Of course, we all know what that would mean, more people on government welfare. Fantastic huh? What a great idea that campaign is pushing for. (I hope y'all can sense that was sopping with sarcasm.)

Anyway, let us go on and recall something from our past. Ronald Reagan did just the opposite of what the Obama Camp is planning to do. He lowered taxes, and took the government out of the economy to a much larger extent than in previous history. Now, withing Reagan's tenure as president, the country saw a tremendous rise in jobs being created, as well as a doubling of revenues to the federal government. Why can't people just look at history? Will people not learn from the past? The plan that Obama suggests WILL lead this country into the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. That's a fact. His ideals are socialist, and again with history, we know that type of system does not work. It doesn't work econimcally, and it will only restrict our freedoms as it has other peoples' in foreign countries.

Now, this has been a little one-sided. I admit that. I am clearly not a democrat, but i am also not entirely a republican. I find myself as being somewhere between an independent and a republican. I do have an open mind though, and I am willing to hear the other side of the issues. I may not agree or follow those other views, but I will listen and give them the time they deserve to be heard.
