Props

You know, I may seem like a majorly lopsided politically kind of person, but I can give credit where credit is due. Recently Obama has requested federal money to aid our military and other operations in Iraq, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. This is a bold move on his part considering the liberal wing of congress hasn't exactly jumped for joy at the news. He says the money is to aid the placement of more troops in Afghanistan and Pakistan to "disrupt, dismantle and defeat al-qaida", and to help fund our training of Iraqi military and police forces. This is not a move I expected I have to admit, but it seems to be of good intentions. So for now, I will give props to Obama. This is one thing I can agree with spending money on, because our troops need the help over there. I may not agree with some of the administration's other frivilous expenditures, but here is one that seems okay SO FAR...only time will tell.
